We are trying to take away assault weapons,&#8221; said Code Pink co-founder, Medea Benjamin.<\/p>\n<p>They credit the NRA for creating a culture that makes it too easy to purchase assault-style weapons. They believe tighter gun laws will decrease mass shootings.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The NRA is to blame. The NRA has poured millions of dollars into lobbying against sensible gun reform,&#8221; [Codepink co-director Alli] McCracken said. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You know what?
