The homeowner reached inside his night stand and pulled out a gun. The thief was DRT (dead right there). \u201cYou think nothing like this is ever gonna happen,\u201d he tells the 911 dispatcher. \u201cI\u2019m just glad I had something, otherwise he would have clawed my head in with a hammer.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Muncie, Indiana<\/a>, a man walked into the hospital with a leg wound. It was determined that he had participated in a home burglary and there was a scuffle with the homeowner in which one of thieves was shot.<\/p>\n

A homeowner in McAlester, Oklahoma<\/a> heard someone in his home, so he grabbed his gun and went searching for the intruders. he found one of them in his kitchen wearing a hockey mask. Another criminal stabbed the homeowner with a butter knife and they got into a struggle, for some reason.
