In Columbia, South Carolina<\/a>, a masked and armed thief tried to rob customers in a game store. The business owner got into a gunfight with the thief who made a dash for the getaway car and got away all the way to hospital where the local constabulary introduced themselves to him. Apparently, no one else was injured during the exchange.<\/p>\n

Devtun sends us a story from Norfolk, Virginia<\/a> where an armed thief demanded money from customers at a wing joint. The owner came out of the kitchen and struck the thief with a meat cleaver leaving two deep wounds. The police caught up with thief at the local hospital.<\/p>\n

UpNorth sends us a link to a story from Springport, Michigan<\/a> a homeowner shot two 18-year-olds who tried to force their way into his house. They were DRT (dead right there). The police admit that there has been quite few break-ins recently in that neighborhood. My sense is that will decrease in the near future.<\/p>\n

In Eagle Point, Oregon<\/a>, Victorino Sanchez tried to swipe a bicycle. When the woman who owned the bicycle began screaming, a bystander leaped into action. He jumped on his horse, lassoed Sanchez and held him until the police arrived on the scene. <\/p>\n
