The getaway driver got away as soon as shots were fired and the thief walked as far as his little legs could carry him until he collapsed on a bridge nearby. <\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wfmj.com\/story\/32154765\/shot-fired-as-sharon-resident-struggles-with-intruder\">Sharon, Pennsylvania<\/a>, Nicholas George Anderson pounded on an apartment door until the resident opened the door and confronted him with a shotgun. Anderson punched him in the face and tried to take the gun from him. When that didn&#8217;t work, he scurried away, his flight punctuated by a shotgun blast. He was uninjured by the police rolled up on him and tackled him when he resisted arrest.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s this story going around about a fellow, Martin Duram, who was murdered in his home in <a href=\"http:\/\/woodtv.com\/2016\/06\/02\/records-police-think-wife-shot-man-tried-to-kill-self\/\">Sand Lake, Michigan<\/a>. His body was found next to his wife&#8217;s injured body. It looks like the only witness is an African Grey parrot that incessantly repeats \u201cDon\u2019t f\u2014ing shoot\u201d. The investigation has turned up nothing.
