{"id":66111,"date":"2016-06-02T11:40:28","date_gmt":"2016-06-02T15:40:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=66111"},"modified":"2016-06-02T11:58:21","modified_gmt":"2016-06-02T15:58:21","slug":"just-another-refugee-making-a-living-in-the-usa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=66111","title":{"rendered":"Just Another Refugee Making A Living In the USA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?attachment_id=66112\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-66112\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-66112\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Yusuf-Abdi-Ali.jpg\" alt=\"Yusuf Abdi Ali\" width=\"185\" height=\"182\" \/><\/a><\/center>Isn\u2019t it great?\u00a0 We have a wonderful \u00a0story today from the DC Metro area.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a story of a man fleeing chaos in Somalia.\u00a0 He moved to America decades ago, around the time that Somalia descended into chaos.\u00a0 He&#8217;s now a lawful permanent resident.\u00a0 He\u2019s made a wonderful life for himself here in America.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, he\u2019s been working as a security guard at a DC area airport for several years \u2013 Dulles, to be precise.\u00a0 If you\u2019ve flown in\/out of Dulles in the past few years, there\u2019s at least a small chance you\u2019ve seen him inside the security perimeter at that airport.<\/p>\n<p>Sounds nice, doesn\u2019t it?\u00a0 Heartwarming, even.<\/p>\n<p>Until you find out that the man involved &#8211; Yusuf Abdi Ali \u2013 <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">is a former official of the brutal Mohamed Siad Barre regime in Somalia<\/span>.\u00a0 He was named in 2006 as a defendant in a lawsuit alleging serious human rights violations \u2013 specifically, of overseeing torture, as well as personally conducting it.\u00a0 The acts Ali has been accused of committing may well qualify as war crimes under both US and international law.<\/p>\n<p>And it gets even better.\u00a0 Apparently the US government has been aware of the allegations against Ali for &#8220;years&#8221;.\u00a0 However, per his employer somehow Ali passed all required security background checks to work at Dulles.\u00a0 He was only recently suspended from duties and placed on administrative leave.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/2016\/06\/02\/accused-somali-war-criminal-found-working-as-dc-airport-security-guard.html\">has an article giving more details<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 IMO it\u2019s worth reading.<\/p>\n<p>But don\u2019t worry.\u00a0 We\u2019ve got a good handle on refugee vetting, and on controlling who is allowed entry into the USA!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Isn\u2019t it great?\u00a0 We have a wonderful \u00a0story today from the DC Metro area.
