{"id":66102,"date":"2016-06-02T10:20:33","date_gmt":"2016-06-02T14:20:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=66102"},"modified":"2016-06-02T10:20:33","modified_gmt":"2016-06-02T14:20:33","slug":"extremist-islamic-movement-in-latin-america","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=66102","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Extremist Islamic movement&#8217; in Latin America"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?attachment_id=66103\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-66103\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/ADM_Kurt_W._Tidd.jpg\" alt=\"ADM_Kurt_W._Tidd\" width=\"220\" height=\"275\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-66103\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/defense\/281948-top-us-military-commander-in-latin-america-worried-about-extremist-islamic\">The Hill<\/a> reports that US Southern Command&#8217;s commander, Admiral Kurt Tidd, is expressing concern about the incursion of Islamic extremists into Central and South America;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>He also said there is some movement of migrants from the Middle East to Latin America. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think we are beginning to see people coming into this hemisphere who have very, very questionable backgrounds, and our law enforcement agencies are paying close attention to that,&#8221; he added. <\/p>\n<p>Tidd said leaders acknowledged at a regional security conference in January that Islamic radicalization is a problem. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Back in 2007, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=572\">we wrote<\/a> about how Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, booted Christian missionaries from that country and replaced them with Iran-financed Hezbollah missionaries among the indigenous folks there.
