US, according to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2016\/may\/17\/judge-blocks-dc-from-enforcing-good-reason-require\/\">Washington Times<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIn Heller, the Supreme Court\u2019s unequivocally [sic] asserted that \u2018the enshrinement of constitutional rights necessarily takes certain policy choices off the table,\u2019 \u201d Judge Leon wrote. \u201cThe District\u2019s understandable, but overly zealous, desire to restrict the right to carry in public a firearm for self-defense to the smallest number of law-abiding, responsible citizens is exactly the type of policy choice the Justices had in mind.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A screen shot from the opinion, called Pink Pistols v. Other states, like Maryland, face the same types of treatment in the courts.
