{"id":65791,"date":"2016-05-16T06:45:43","date_gmt":"2016-05-16T10:45:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=65791"},"modified":"2016-05-15T08:10:59","modified_gmt":"2016-05-15T12:10:59","slug":"coronado-turns-out-to-honor-soc-keating","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=65791","title":{"rendered":"Coronado Turns Out to Honor SOC Keating"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, Coronado turned out to honor SOC Charles Keating IV.\u00a0 Twice.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/2016\/05\/13\/navy-seals-invite-public-to-honor-fallen-seal-killed-in-iraq.html\">The first was on Thursday<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 On that day, in excess of 1,000 turned out for a memorial ceremony for SOC Keating.\u00a0 At that ceremony he was posthumously awarded the Silver Star.\u00a0 He was also posthumously promoted to Chief Petty Officer.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sandiegouniontribune.com\/news\/2016\/may\/13\/navy-seal-funeral-process-coronado-keating\/\">The second occurred on Friday<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0 Over 3,000 lined 6th Street for his funeral procession.\u00a0 The profession took SOC Keating\u2019s remains to the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, where he was interred in a private ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>Rest in peace, brother-in-arms.\u00a0 You did your duty, and you did it well.<\/p>\n<p>And thank you, citizens of Coronado.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, Coronado turned out to honor SOC Charles Keating IV.\u00a0 Twice.
