There is an obvious push by radical Islamists to spread their barbaric belief system across the globe.\u00a0 They call it the Caliphate, and they have aspirations of a world subjugated to their interpretation of Islam.\u00a0 None of this is new stuff.\u00a0 We\u2019ve been watching and reading about it for several years now.<\/p>\n
This being the case, why has our main effort continued to be \u201cwhack a mole\u201d while the Islamists are committed to a concerted effort to raise up a new generation of radicals?<\/p>\n
In 2014, a filmmaker from Vice News<\/a> embedded himself with ISIS in Raqqa, Syria.\u00a0 One of the ISIS members interviewed was running a training camp for children.\u00a0 He stated,<\/p>\n \u201cFor us, we believe that this generation of children is the generation of the caliphate. This generation will fight the infidels and apostates, the Americans and their allies, God willing. The right doctrine has been implanted in these children,”<\/p>\n In November of 2015,\u00a0 a PBS documentary<\/a> reported on ISIS training children as young as three-years-old in Afghanistan\u2019s Kunar province.\u00a0 The documentary shows an ISIS member teaching the children to operate Ak-47s and hand grenades.<\/p>\n The Long War Journal brings us the most recent development<\/a> in the disturbing trend of radical Islamists and their strategy to indoctrinate the next generation of jihadists.<\/p>\n The Islamic State\u2019s \u201cLibrary of Zeal\u201d has released an application for teaching the Arabic alphabet to children on Android devices. The vocabulary taught within the application includes jihadist themes.<\/p>\n Words like \u201ctank,\u201d \u201cgun,\u201d and \u201crocket\u201d are among the first few taught within the application.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n By now, this end state shouldn\u2019t surprise anyone.\u00a0 Yet, European countries have continued to open their borders to Middle Eastern migrants, and any suggestion to the contrary in the United States it met with accusations of xenophobia.<\/p>\n London just elected the first Muslim mayor of a Western capital, and in a demonstration of solidarity for Ramadan printed the phrase \u201cPraise Allah<\/a>\u201d on the city’s iconic red buses.<\/p>\n You know what, f**k Europe\u2014we saved them twice.\u00a0 They made their bed, let them lie in it.<\/p>\n I\u2019m more concerned with what the United States is doing against this clear and present danger? (h\/t Tom Clancy)<\/p>\n Answer: The Obama administration continues to make the humanitarian argument.<\/p>\n Despite Paris and Belgium, despite the fact that European women and children are sexually assaulted by throngs of migrant men<\/a>, Obama seeks to emulate Germany\u2019s immigration debacle and believes<\/a> that Angela Merkel \u201cis on the right side of history on this issue.\u201d<\/p>\n In November of 2015, Obama made the claim<\/a> that members of the GOP were \u201cscared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America\u201d\u2014as if only members of the GOP are concerned about more San Bernardino terrorists slipping through the cracks (pronounced walking upright through the gaping holes) in immigration.<\/p>\n Ironically, Obama made this statement while in the Philippines\u2014a state that has fought an insurgency with Muslim secessionists for decades.\u00a0 A state that knows all too well how an organized body of Muslims can demand, fight for, and ultimately win autonomy<\/a>.\u00a0 A state that recently elected a new president\u2014Rodrigo Duterte.\u00a0 Duterte is known as the \u201cTrump of the East\u201d and has vocally pledged<\/a> to kill suspected criminals and end crime within six months.\u00a0 In reference to territorial disputes in the South China Sea, Duterte stated<\/a>, \u201cI\u2019ll go down, riding a jet-ski, carrying a Filipino flag \u2026 and then I would say, \u2018This is ours.\u201d<\/p>\n Duterte\u2019s comments may be testosterone fueled rhetoric, but it demonstrates that the Philippine electorate is looking for stronger leadership to replace an ineffective leader and increasingly absent U.S. ally.\u00a0 Good for them.\u00a0 The world is in desperate need of leaders that view the world through a lens of realism.<\/p>\n Could leadership, or its seven-year absence\u2014in the United States\u2014be partly responsible for the continued rise of ISIS\u2014or Trump for that matter? (rhetorical) And to think, many Americans are seriously considering voting for a liar who refuses to utter the phrase radical Islamists. (and who lied about being in combat<\/a>)<\/p>\n
