That song &#8211; along with the rest of the album from which it comes, <u>Arc of a Diver<\/u> &#8211; was a true solo effort. Winwood provided all vocals, played all instruments, and both produced and mixed the entire album himself. The only assistance he received was from John &#8220;Nobby&#8221; Clarke, who assisted him with the audio engineering.<\/p>\n<p><u>Clapton<\/u><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/ydwA-A2FBWU?rel=0\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/Hlkcg6Cx0LE?rel=0\" width=\"420\" height=\"236\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A bit of trivia about the second Clapton tune: the lady performing the duet with Clapton is NOT his frequent vocal collaborator Yvonne Ellison. The lady singing with Clapton on that tune is another frequent but less well-known vocal collaborator: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Marcella_Detroit\">Marcy Levy, AKA Marcella Detroit<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 Levy also co-wrote the song &#8211; plus several others, including <em>Lay Down Sally<\/em>\u00a0 &#8211; with Clapton.\u00a0 (Both Ellison and Levy contributed vocals to the last recording.)<\/p>\n<p>Again:\u00a0 many thanks, gentlemen.
