The crook also fired back at the homeowner and both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the police arrived.<\/p>\n<p>The Humphrey family of <a href=\"http:\/\/sacramento.cbslocal.com\/2016\/04\/25\/west-sacramento-family-tracks-down-home-invasion-suspect\/\">Sacramento, California<\/a> barricaded themselves in their bedroom when a criminal forced his way into their home. Eventually the criminal gave up and left the home, that&#8217;s when Brandon Humphrey got his firearm and checked his property. He found the criminal hiding in his backyard and held him at gunpoint for the police.<\/p>\n<p>The owner of an insurance business in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arkansasmatters.com\/news\/local-news\/robbery-suspect-shot-at-in-hot-springs\">Little Rock, Arkansas<\/a> confronted an armed thief in the office. The owner busted a couple of caps in his direction which convinced the crook to leave.
