61-year-old Lewis Boyd broke a window and forced his way into a Corinth, Mississippi<\/a> home and confronted an armed homeowner who shot him three times in the chest with a .22 caliber pistol. Mr Boyd was declared DOT (dead over there) at the hospital.<\/p>\n

A woman was home alone with her teenage daughter in Savannah, Georgia<\/a> when two criminals forced their way through the door. When she stood up to greet who she thought was her husband coming home from work, one of the crooks hit her in the face, but she was able to retrieve her shotgun and bust a cap in their direction which convinced them to leave. Her teenage daughter was hiding in the closet. Police are still looking for the pair, if they ever stop running.<\/p>\n

Kenda Casey broke into a home in Gulfport, Mississippi<\/a> and tried to sexually assault the young female that he found there. When the police arrived, they found Casey laying on the floor with the intended victim’s firearm pointed at his head.<\/p>\n

In Portland, Indiana<\/a>, about two years ago, David McLaughlin shot David A. Bailey after McLaughlin caught him fleeing from the scene of a burglary. Baily was hit in his arm, which he claims is still injured as a result. McLaughlin was convicted for shooting the criminal, served 60 days and four months of home detention. Bailey was convicted and sentenced to three years of home detention. Now Bailey wants to sue McLaughlin for \u201ca monetary award in an amount sufficient to compensate (Bailey) for all damages.” So, the lesson is, if they’re not a threat, save your ammo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
