We got the word that Chalice Renee Zeitner, who we’ve been writing about<\/a> for almost three years because she pretended to be a wounded combat veteran, was found guilty<\/a> of presenting false medical records to a doctor to get a state-funded abortion.<\/p>\n

A jury has convicted an Arizona woman accused of faking a cancer diagnosis to get the state to pay for her late-term abortion.<\/p>\n

Maricopa County Superior Court officials say jurors on Monday found Chalice Zeitner guilty on all 11 counts against her.<\/p>\n

Zeitner was accused of presenting falsified medical records to support her claim that she had cancer and telling an obstetrician that her pregnancy put her life in danger.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to AZ Central<\/a>, she committed this felony while she was on probation from a previous offense. <\/p>\n

She’s looking at 30 years of nightly pillow fights in women’s prison. Sentencing is schedule for May 26th and she has been indicted on charges that she defrauded a veterans’ charity. <\/p>\n

She is also accused of using a fake identity on social media to convince her boyfriend to set up a fundraising website for her cancer treatments.<\/p>\n

Zeitner faces a trial May 25 in a separate case in which she is accused of defrauding a charity for military veterans and the leader of a second charity in 2012.<\/p>\n

She allegedly persuaded one charity to buy $7,700 worth of tickets for a gala with the promise of returning the money and providing a portion of the event’s proceeds. But investigators say Zeitner cancelled the event and instead spent the money on personal expenses.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
