Soon after, they arrested Okeith Desmond Taylor at the hospital where he was being treated for his own gun shot wounds. It looks like Okeith and the unnamed man got into a shoot-out when Okeith tried to break into the man’s home. The unnamed man is being treated for his injuries, too.

In the “good dog” category, the Harrison County, North Carolina sheriff’s department awarded a certificate for bravery to Leon, a rescue dog who chased masked gun men from Theresa Lero’s home. Theresa had a loaded gun, but there was no round in the chamber. Lucky for her, Leon is always locked and loaded. Leon took a bullet to his head, though, but he’s fine now.

Demond T. Mitchell was part of a three-man home invasion crew in Portsmouth, Virginia who was found DRT (dead right there) at the scene of a home invasion. The article doesn’t say who shot him, but we can guess.

One for the dumbass criminal category; 43-year-old Derek Anthony and 35-year-old Marie Guazon tried to steal about $200 worth of printer ink from a Target store in Fresno, California. When he was confronted by security, Anthony showed them the gun in his waistband and asked the officers “Do you want to get shot?” Then he took off. Later, Anthony called the officers and chewed them out for confronting him – that’s how the loss prevention officers got his cell phone number to give to the police who tracked him down and arrested him.

In Etna, Pennsylvania, Joshua Huber may have been defending himself when he shot and killed two people in his apartment, according to witnesses who heard the commotion in his apartment. But it was an armed neighbor that kept Huber on the scene of the double murder until the police arrived to sort the mystery out.

Pedro Ayala in Paris, Texas, heard someone breaking in his house, so he took his gun to investigate. He found an intruder with a 9mm in his left and a knife in his right hand. When he made a move, Pedro shot at him. The thief tried to get away through a window, Pedro grabbed him to stop him, but he cut Pedro’s hand and slipped away. Police are still looking for the intruder, but they have no leads.

In Durham, North Carolina, police found a wounded man laying on a lawn where they were … Saturday morning feel good storiesRead more

[218

post-65282","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-feel-good-stories
["GET
