Colonel Richard Kemp, a former commander of British troops in Afghanistan took to the pages of the UK’s Telegraph<\/a> to warn about the plan to put females in the frontlines of that nation’s wars. He seems to have picked up some of thoughts expressed here;<\/p>\n

The people who have demanded this change \u2013 politicians desperate to be seen as \u201cprogressive\u201d, feminist zealots and ideologues hell-bent on equality of opportunity without exception \u2013 would never dream of volunteering. Indeed only a very small number of women will want to join the infantry and of those only a fraction will have the physical capability. Hence the need to lower the bar.<\/p>\n

The damage will be budgetary as well as tactical. Even in the tranquillity of a peacetime barracks, three RAF women sustained spinal and pelvic injuries due to over-striding to keep pace with the men on parade.<\/p>\n

They were awarded \u00a3100,000 each. The RAF\u2019s remedy was to shorten stride-length and place women at the front of the squad to set a reduced pace for the men \u2013 an ominous indication of things to come for the infantry.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Since the Ellen Harings and Ray Mabus of the world are the ones who want to inflict this plan on our fighting men and women, the folks who will bear the burden and bleed for the social justice warriors’ rhetoric, maybe we should put the SJWs in the front ranks and they can lead the way for us and show us how it’s done – because they’re certainly not listening to the experts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
