She made partner at BMZ before the fraud was discovered.<\/p>\n<p>[&#8230;]<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We think that she had no intent to defraud,&#8221; [Defense attorney Caroline Roberto ] said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>No intent to defraud &#8211; other than the fact that she forged a law license, bar exam results, even a check for registration with the bar. Nope, they can&#8217;t prove intent to defraud.
