Before some of our more liberal Hillary (H>) supporters begin hyperventilating all over the comments section, I know that she was talking about the part of the Libyan civil war that happened before Gaddafi met his end, but, anyone with more than half a brain could make the case that the rise of al Qaeda and ISIS in North Africa which led up to the September 11, 2012 attack on the Benghazi consulate was the direct result of US avoidance of leadership in the region during the “Arab Spring” uprisings. Just like the US avoidance of leadership in Syria has turned that mess into a morass.<\/p>\n
