In Las Vegas, Nevada<\/a>, Joey Imerti met an intruder breaking into his house at the window the criminal was using and fired two shots at the crook until his rifle misfired and the bad guy ran off.<\/p>\n

In Little Rock, Arkansas<\/a> a homeowner was injured when his wife struggled with intruders into their home. The homeowner was able to return fire and struck the crook in the chest twice, and in the legs. Both were treated for their non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

In Alton, Illinois<\/a>, an armed intruder, wearing body armor, shot himself in the hand when he got in a struggle with the resident. He was arrested for being a felon with a handgun.<\/p>\n

Bobo sends us a link to the story of a 65-year-old woman in Manchester, New Hampshire<\/a> who shot a 23-year-old who assaulted her outside her home. She says that she has owned the gun for ten years and this is the first time that she had to protect herself with it. The criminal was arraigned from his hospital bed.<\/p>\n

UpNorth sends a link to a story which happened in Detroit, Michigan<\/a> where a fellow on the street announced that he was sticking up a concealed weapon carrier, and the licensed gun owner refused to submit and sent the criminal to the hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n

David sends us a link to a story in Houston, Texas<\/a> in which car salesman Jose Martinez was kidnapped and stuffed in the trunk of the car in which he was accompanying a person he thought was going for a test drive. Jose pulled the trunk escape latch and threw himself to the pavement. The pair of thieves went back to get him when one of them dropped his gun. Jose retrieved the firearm and shot one of the thieves. They unassed the AO and there’s no word on the condition of the target.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
