Our buddy, Kristina Wong at The Hill<\/a> reports that the Democrat Party boogey-man, George Soros told Center for American Progress President Neera Tanden that he regrets giving Obama $5 million for his campaign during the 2008 campaign. Not because he’s unhappy with Obama’s policies, but because he can’t get the attention from the President that he thought he was buying according to an email from Tanden to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton;<\/p>\n

“I told him I worked for you in the primaries and he said he’s been impressed that he can always call\/meet with you on an issue of policy and said he hasn’t met with the President ever (though I thought he had),” Tanden wrote. <\/p>\n

“He then said he regretted his decision in the primary – he likes to admit mistakes when he makes them and that was one of them,” she added. <\/p>\n

“He then extolled his work with you from your time as First Lady on. You probably have heard this all before but on the off chance you haven’t, I thought I should let you know. Thanks again for doing the video!” she wrote. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Wong’s article continues that Soros has had private meetings with Obama, but none of the easy access to the White House and the president’s ear that Soros admits that he thought he was paying for with his donations to the Obama campaign. But, hey, Soros likes Clinton, so that’s bound to help her in the campaign.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
