They took her cell phone. Marines Private First Class Blayne Edwards, Private Alex Berezansky and Private First Class Ryan Delaca were on the scene and heard the teen&#8217;s cries for help. They took off after the thugs while dressed in their blues and those useless low quarter shoes and caught up with the three. The Marines held the three in place until police arrived, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fox2detroit.com\/news\/local-news\/62004671-story\">Fox2<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Our core values are honor courage and commitment to do the right thing,&#8221; said Berezansky. &#8220;So when an opportunity arises to help someone, we always do that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>They chased the thieves through a busy intersection and all the way to Target.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They were fast at first but we caught up to them,&#8221; Delaca said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And we asked them, do you really think you can outrun three Marines,&#8221; Edwards said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/nation-now\/2015\/12\/30\/marines-dress-blues-thwart-suspected-thieves\/78064586\/\">USAToday<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI always try to do the right thing,\u201d said Pfc. Ryan Delaca, a machine gunner with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines. \u201cThat\u2019s what Marines do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pvt. Alex Berezansky, who is in training to be a motor transportation operator, said he was &#8220;raised to do the right thing and help those who can&#8217;t help themselves.&#8221; He also spoke of his service&#8217;s core values: honor, courage and commitment.<\/p>\n<p>The Marines&#8217; response was proof that they&#8217;ve been trained to react to the unknown, said Staff Sgt.
