<\/a><\/center><\/p>\nEarlier this month, we talked about Lance Whipple<\/a> who claimed to be an Air Force Captain up in Lansing, Michigan. Apparently, he just noticed the post about him yesterday, because his wife called us to defend him. He sends us these DD214s to prove that we were wrong in our initial assessment that he had a few weeks in the Air Force;<\/p>\n As is often the case, these DD214s only raise more questions in my mind. I’ve never seen that font used by the military. The form version is in the upper left hand corner of the form, but every DD214 has the version in the bottom left corner. My DD214 is from 1993, and it uses a 1988 form version, but this one from 1990 uses a 1990 version. There are numerous misspellings and the math in Block 12 is incomplete on both. Finally, on both forms, the re-up code 2P signifies “AWOL; Deserter Dropped from Rolls” – not to mention that he claims to have eleven years enlisted time and then 20 years as a captain. it seems to me that a captain would have been QMP’d long before a thirty-one year retirement.<\/p>\n He claims that the FOIA we have is wrong because the clerk misspelled his middle name. I wonder how many Lance Whipples were in basic training at Lackland in September 1979. We’ve resubmitted for the FOIA with these DD214s attached. By the way, the PJ community tells us that they have no record of him attending any pararescue training with any middle name.<\/p>\n They claim that they’re coming to West Virginia to meet with me, and, sure I’ll meet them, but if we’re meeting to discuss this forgery, probably the worst forgery I’ve seen since Jesse MacBeth we’ll just be spinning our wheels.<\/p>\n The Commander Club should look into his claims, too. here he is at one of the social events;<\/p>\n UPDATE 3\/16\/2016<\/strong>; I guess our meeting has been postponed while Heidi is writing the check for his bail;<\/p>\n![\"Whipple](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Whipple-DD214-1.jpg?resize=223%2C300&ssl=1\")
