I guess in observance of Christmas, homeowners didn’t shoot any criminals this weekend – or at least the media didn’t report any, but the criminals didn’t take a holiday. However in Lansing, Michigan<\/a>, Terrozza Tyree Griffin broke into someone’s home, but police arrived while he was inside. They tried to talk him out, but he was having none of it. After awhile, police saw flames coming from inside, so they went in to get him out. He fired at the police, so they left. He confronted them again, but they made him DRT.<\/p>\n

In Phoenix, Arizona<\/a>, another fellow started chucking rocks at police vehicles outside the precinct station house. When officers confronted him, he started throwing rocks at them. An officer made him DRT. It was later discovered that the vandal had a firearm, too, but rocks are more dramatic, I guess. He had a recent prison stint that started in 2013.<\/p>\n

In Palo Alto, California, a knife-wielding man charged at two police officers who shot him, he was DOT (dead over there) at the hospital.<\/p>\n

Here’s a late entry from Columbus, Nebraska<\/a>, where a homeowner was forced back into his house where he had a hand-to-hand confrontation with three invaders, one of whom was armed with a hammer. The homeowner disarmed the thug with a hammer and struggled with them for a while until he broke free and went for his gun in the bedroom. The invaders un-assed the AO and the homeowner punctuated their exit with gun fire, but he’s unsure if he hit anyone.
