Crime didn’t take a holiday in Cache County, Utah<\/a> where a homeowner got into an altercation with a burglar. The homeowner was armed and fired a warning shot which scared off the intruder – the fleeing criminal damaged his car when he hit a mailbox during his flight which made him easier to find and he was arrested at Walmart.<\/p>\n

Wearing nothing but his handgun, a Newark, Ohio<\/a> resident held a criminal at bay until the police arrived to cart off the offender.<\/p>\n

In Ooltehwah, Tennessee<\/a> Darren Jump was stopped by an armed homeowner from imitating the Grinch and stealing folks’ Christmas gifts. When Jump confronted the homeowner, the resident pulled his handgun and chased Jump to a barn and held him for the police.<\/p>\n

At a mall in Charlotte, North Carolina<\/a>, an off-duty police officer shot a gunman and probably prevented a mass-shooting scenario when two groups of people had an altercation. The gunman, wannabe rapper Daquan Antonio Westbrook, was DRT (dead right there). According to the article Westbrook has been arrested 11 times since 2013. Two others were injured before the off-duty officer put an end to Westbrook’s life of crime.<\/p>\n

Another armed citizen stopped another mass-shooting scenario in Dallas, Texas<\/a> after a dispute in front of a tire store. One by stander was killed and another injured before the armed employee fired at the criminal who left the scene at a high rate of speed.
