From <a href=\"http:\/\/keranews.org\/post\/vietnam-veteran-helps-tarrant-county-adults-and-children-mental-illness\">Kera News<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>During the first 90 days of his tour in Vietnam, Michael Killam says he felt invincible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had weapons,\u201d he said. \u201cI had power over life and death. I could make people live or I could let them die. I became God-like.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Killam was only 19 at the time. During his tour, he was captured for three days, hung upside down, and tortured for hours.
