He went on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winknews.com\/2015\/12\/16\/exclusive-army-vet-comes-clean-about-years-of-lies\/\">the local media<\/a> yesterday to apologize or something similar. And in some small ways almost believing it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Oliver says he kept the lie going for years out of fear of rejection.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, they interview some of his students who don&#8217;t care that he&#8217;s been lying to them for decades. That&#8217;s fine. Whatever. I get the feeling that he&#8217;s not sorry that he lied, but that he&#8217;s sorry that he was caught. Bulldog tells me that Oliver contacted the media to get his story out.
