In Arlington Heights, California<\/a>, a resident was enjoying a night of television when he noticed that there were two men in his home, so he shot one of them. The other other escaped, while the police arrived and counted the first guy DRT (dead right there).<\/p>\n

In Hot Springs, Arkansas<\/a>, another homeowner found a fellow in his home and took a wide pot-shot at him and missed. The crook took off into the night.<\/p>\n

In Bakersfield, California<\/a>, another homeowner ventilated an armed and masked intruder in his residence, police took him to the hospital where he’s in stable condition.<\/p>\n

A Columbus, Georgia<\/a> homeowner was accosted by a burglar, right before he ventilated the criminal. The police declared the criminal DRT.<\/p>\n

In the Monterey Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California<\/a>, Joshua Villavicencio attempted to steal the car of a man he saw locking his vehicle at the curb. Unfortunately for Josh, the man was an off-duty cop. A gunfight ensued and ended with Josh on the way to the hospital. The officer was unhurt and drove off afterwards with his own car.<\/p>\n

In Cavendish, Vermont<\/a>, a criminal pulled a knife on a convenience store clerk who struck back with a machete. Even though the clerk hit the thief twice on his arm, police don’t think he was injured, because it’s December in Vermont – those heavy Winter coats they wear up there are good protection from machetes.
