Aimesbury\" width=\"216\" height=\"276\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-63238\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>NHSparky sends us word that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fosters.com\/article\/20151211\/NEWS\/151219889\">Ranger Corporal Andrew A. Aimesbury<\/a> of Delta Company, 1st Battalion 75th Rangers was killed in a training accident earlier this week. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>    Aimesbury, 21, was wounded during the exercise and transported to the nearest treatment facility where he died of his injuries, according to an Army press release.<\/p>\n<p>    The incident is under investigation, the release states. He is survived by his parents, Carl and Karen Aimesbury, and his sister, Abigail, all of Somersworth.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He was a veteran of the war in Afghanistan;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>    His awards and decorations include the Ranger Tab, Expert Infantryman&#8217;s Badge, the Parachutist Badge, and the Marksmanship Qualification Badge Expert-Carbine.<\/p>\n<p>    Aimesbury has also been awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and the NATO Medal.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NHSparky sends us word that Ranger Corporal Andrew A.
