Obviously, it\u2019s a rousing success.<\/p>\n
I mean, we all know just how \u201coverheated\u201d the economy has been the past few years, right?\u00a0 Isn\u2019t pretty much every employer out there attempting to hire more employees – and failing because they can’t find them?\u00a0 Isn\u2019t the US civilian labor participation rate at an all-time high?\u00a0 Isn\u2019t underemployment virtually unknown?\u00a0\u00a0 Isn\u2019t inflation threatening to spiral out of control?<\/p>\n
But it\u2019s ObamaCare to the rescue!\u00a0 By 2025, the effects of ObamaCare are projected to remove the equivalent of 2 million jobs from the US economy!\u00a0\u00a0 That will certainly cool things down,won\u2019t it? Hurrah! We\u2019re saved.<\/p>\n
Yes, the above was sarcasm.\u00a0 All of it is bullsh!t.<\/p>\n
Well, all of it was bullsh!t except the \u201cremove the equivalent of 2 million jobs\u201d part.\u00a0 Because that\u2019s exactly what the CBO is now projecting ObamaCare will do by 2025<\/a><\/em> \u2013 remove the equivalent in labor hours of 2 million jobs from the US workforce.<\/p>\n It’s pretty much what everyone with two or three working brain cells predicted a priori<\/em>.\u00a0 The law gives employers a disincentive to hire full-time workers; ObamaCare subsidies gives people an incentive to quit working or reduce their hours.\u00a0 The results are entirely predictable – and were indeed predicted ahead of time by many.<\/p>\n And for that “wonderful” outcome, we can thank the\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 clueless fools and tools running the show in DC in 2009<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 majority in Congress and the Administration in power in 2009.\u00a0 Anyone remember who those were?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
