We begin our journey this morning in Marine, Illinois<\/a> where a homeowner heard someone trying to break into his home through the backdoor. The homeowner, being an American, armed himself and shot the intruder in the chest. Police arrived and found the injured fellow outside of the house where he belonged and sent him to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. I’m thinking the homeowner needs a larger caliber weapon.<\/p>\n

In Crockett County, Tennessee<\/a>, two thieves kicked in a homeowner’s back door and began firing as soon as they entered the house. they were surprised by the answering gunfire and a gun battle ensued ending when one of the pair was injured. They left the residence, but the gun shot wound made it easy for the police to identify the suspects.<\/p>\n

In Wichita Falls, Texas<\/a>, one gunman learned that robbing a gun store is a bad idea. Two thieves forced their way into a gun store and began to exchange gunfire with the owner. One of them was injured in the exchange, as well as the owner, the other un-assed the AO. The injured men were taken to the hospital and police are still looking for the uninjured accomplice. The gun store owner is in stable condition after a few hours of surgery.<\/p>\n

In Brooksville, Florida<\/a>, the police found Shaquaille Delaine in the hospital with a gunshot wound. He claimed that someone had tried to rob him and he had escaped but got wounded in the process. Further investigation revealed that young Shaquaille had actually tried to rob someone else in another county and he received a bullet in his leg for his trouble. Now he’s facing a charge of filing a false report along with the armed robbery charge.<\/p>\n

In Albuquerque, New Mexico<\/a>, George and Rebecca Kennedy (described in the article as “elderly”) encountered Aaron Lujan loading their things into a car. George tried to dissuade Aaron, but he continued loading their stuff into the car. The Kennedys went into their home and armed themselves and came back out then held the youngster at gunpoint until police arrived. Lujan told police that he’d just been released from the county jail on Wednesday and that the car he was loading up was stolen, too.<\/p>\n

Back in 2013, in Cleveland, Ohio<\/a>, Herman Jennings and his pal Waymone Williams tried to rob a woman and a man on the street. Unfortunately for them, the man was armed and killed poor Waymone after Waymoe assaulted the guy. The other day, Jennings was sentenced to life in Prison for the murder of his pal in conjunction with the assault. He’ll be eligible for parole in 35 years, though.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
