He owned Silver Star Construction LLC, of Blue Springs and Stilwell, Kansas through which he defrauded the Veterans&#8217; Affairs Department of more than $6.7 million in set asides for disabled veterans&#8217; small businesses. Parker was not disabled or a decorated veteran as he had claimed. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=29456\">He was in the Missouri National Guard through the Vietnam War<\/a> and his only active duty was for basic training. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=35133\">Parker was sentenced<\/a> to 87 months in prison for his deceit. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.examiner.net\/article\/20151021\/NEWS\/151029805\">Johnson County, Missouri Examiner<\/a> reports that his wife was just sentenced for helping her lying-ass husband;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Mary Parker, 70, was sentenced Tuesday and ordered to pay $30,000, said the office of U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom. She had pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Kansas to one count of aiding and abetting wire fraud.<\/p>\n<p>[&#8230;]<\/p>\n<p>Mary Parker had been responsible for Silver Star\u2019s finances. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>She took a twenty-month sentence, Parker&#8217;s brother was sentenced to a 54-month tour of the federal confinement facilities. <\/p>\n<p>The elder Parker had claimed three Silver Star Medals (hence, the name of his company), several Bronze Stars and Purple Hearts for his service in the Missouri National Guard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve written about Warren K. parker n the past.
