In Houston, Texas<\/a>, two thieves forced their way into a convenience store and held the clerk at gunpoint while demanding money. Instead, the clerk grabbed a shotgun and a firefight ensued ending with one thief injured and the clerk wounded. The pair un-assed the AO and one of them was found later by the Houston Fire department and taken to the hospital to await accommodations at the local jail.<\/p>\n

In Chesterfield, Virginia<\/a>, an off-duty Richmond police officer took his car to a car wash where a youngster hopped in the police officer’s car and started to drive off. The officer was told by employees that man driving his car didn’t work there, so the officer confronted the youngster, identifying himself to the thief as a police officer. That didn’t seem to change the thief’s mind and it led to an altercation in which the thief was shot. He was transported to the hospital where he was declared DOT (dead over there).<\/p>\n

In Chula Vista, California<\/a>, a Customs and Border Patrol Protection Officer stopped her boyfriend from physically abusing her by making him DRT (dead right there).<\/p>\n

The other day, Humboldt County, California<\/a> Sheriff deputies found the body of Justin Joseph Nevis. it appears that Nevis was half of a pair of intruders into the home of 64-year-old John Pineal. They went in with guns, but Pineal had a Kukri knife and sliced the pair up pretty well. So well, that Nevis collapsed a few feet from the scene and bled to death in the woods. It was more than a month later that police found his body. Pineal seems to be celebrating on his own website with pictures of his own injuries and an account of the encounter.
