The elder Heisler had earned a restraining order from his ex-wife and had been arrested as a felon in possession of a gun a few months ago. This time, while in the darkness, he’d aimed a gun at his son, who was quicker on the draw and shot his father in the head. He didn’t know it was his father until after the damage was done – his father was wearing a ski mask. It also turns out that dear old dad had been brandishing a BB gun. Dad was DRT (dead right there).

I’m just wondering, has anyone ever successfully won back the love of their woman by holding her at gunpoint? It’s just that there are so many guys doing that these days, I wonder why they think it will work.

In Dayton, Ohio, a woman shot a burglar, he fled the scene, collapsed nearby and was declared DOT (dead over there) at the hospital. She’s also being credited with winging another burglar two years ago with her trusty sidearm.

An update to our story from yesterday which happened in Albuquerque, NM where a homeowner scored a DRT and a DOT, we add another DOT when police found the third suspect dead in his car. It may have been a self-inflicted gun shot wound that took him out. A fourth man has been arrested and claims that they were robbing a drug dealer, but he’s a criminal so who believes him?

In Youngstown, Ohio, a 90-year-old heard someone knocking at his door at about 12:30 in the morning. He ignored the knock, but soon after, he heard the sound of breaking glass on his porch, so he let loose with a round from his .357 Magnum pistol which sent the intruder off into the darkness before police could arrive. Us old people don’t want to make new friends in our homes at night…we’ll shoot you.

In Sweetwater, Tennessee, a persistent fellow was frightened away from a burglary job twice in the space of a couple of hours. The first time, he got away with a sunhat that was hanging outside the door that he couldn’t penetrate. The second time, he struggled with the fellow and discharged his firearm which frightened the criminal so badly that he abandoned the prized sunhat along with his sunglasses. He also un-assed the AO so quickly that he ran right out of his sneakers and left them behind, too.

Jerry920 and Bobo sent us a link from CBS News about how in St. Petersburg, Florida, … Thursday morning feel good storiesRead more

[218

post-61775","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-feel-good-stories
["GET
