{"id":61570,"date":"2015-08-26T09:00:04","date_gmt":"2015-08-26T13:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=61570"},"modified":"2015-08-26T08:34:09","modified_gmt":"2015-08-26T12:34:09","slug":"two-coalition-soldiers-murdered-in-latest-green-on-blue-assault","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=61570","title":{"rendered":"Two coalition soldiers murdered in latest green-on-blue assault"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.channelnewsasia.com\/news\/asiapacific\/2-nato-soldiers-killed-in\/2077150.html\">ChannelAsiaNews<\/a> reports that two men dressed as ANA soldiers murdered two NATO troops in Helmand Provence yesterday;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Two Resolute Support (NATO) service members died early this morning when two individuals wearing Afghan (military) uniforms opened fire on their vehicle at an (Afghan security forces) compound in Helmand province,&#8221; a NATO statement said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Resolute Support service members returned fire and killed the shooters,&#8221; it added, without revealing the nationalities of the soldiers.<\/p>\n<p>The Taliban did not immediately claim responsibility for the attack, and Western officials say that most such attacks stem from personal grudges and cultural misunderstandings rather than insurgent plots.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeah, that makes complete sense. I kill everyone with whom I disagree on cultural issues, too. That was the Pentagon&#8217;s excuse for green-on-blue attacks three years ago. It was a stupid excuse then and it&#8217;s stupid now. <\/p>\n<p>It certainly wasn&#8217;t the conclusion of the investigation of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/sf\/local\/2015\/08\/19\/completely-betrayed\/\">murder of Major General Harold Greene<\/a> last year, so why would be the conclusion of the media in this case?
