Published accounts indicate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/health\/2015\/08\/20\/jimmy-carter-to-discuss-cancer-diagnosis-publicly\/\">at least four \u201csmall\u201d metastases are present in his brain<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Carter is reportedly in good spirits, says that pain so far has been \u201cvery slight\u201d, and that he hasn\u2019t experienced weakness or other debilitating effects. He started treatment for his metastatic cancer yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d guess most here don\u2019t much care for former President Carter. \u00a0I&#8217;ve made no secret of the fact that I personally don&#8217;t care for him at all.<\/p>\n<p>Still: if you\u2019re so inclined, perhaps make the time to ask CINC-ALL to give the man strength and, if He so decides, a full recovery. Though I don\u2019t much care for former President Carter, he\u2019s <em>not<\/em> on the short list of those I feel are deserving of an exit due to\u00a0terminal cancer. I\u2019ve asked the Deity to bless and watch over him.<\/p>\n<p>Godspeed, Mr. President. Best wishes for your recovery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>. . .<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FWIW: Carter&#8217;s cancer apparently is melanoma \u2013 the most deadly type of skin cancer.
