Our first story this morning is from Detroit, Michigan<\/a> where a homeowner heard noises outside his front door and went to investigate. When he opened his door, the intruders opened fire on him, but he had a gun, too and drove them away, but it is not known whether the homeowner hit his targets.<\/p>\n

But, in Lantana, Florida<\/a>, the outcome was a little more clear. A homeowner found a couple of fellows in his house when he came home from work. Gun fire erupted at the scene and the homeowner made one of the criminals DRT, while the other was carted off by the amber-lance. Unfortunately, his two dogs paid the ultimate price.<\/p>\n
