He&#8217;s a 54-year-old who stood guard outside a grocery store and &#8220;aggressively&#8221; solicited donations from customers for veterans. He pretended to be Navy SEAL (with SEAL Team 6, of course) and that he had earned the rank of Commander, along with a Navy Cross, a Silver Star, a Purple Heart;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>During questioning&#8230;Brown admitted he was never a Navy Officer nor a Navy Seal.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies say he allegedly purchased all of his military insignias including the Navy uniform at a local Army\/Navy surplus store.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The article continues that Browne wisely gave his phony finery to the officers at the scene of his crime, and then later he was arrested at his home for &#8220;a felony charge of unlawful use of uniforms, medals, or insignia&#8221;.
