This morning, we start off with a jewelry store heist in Houston, Texas<\/a> where a young man went shopping for high-end booty with which he could turn his life around. Instead, he found a less than cooperative clerk who dispensed some hi-velocity jewelry to his now-empty noggin. It is hard to tell from the story if he was DRT or DOT, though. I’m guessing that he was dead right there.<\/p>\n

Outside of Houston<\/a>, at a convenience store, an off-duty police officer found himself in the middle of a robbery. When he told the two gentlemen to “Freeze!”, they didn’t and a gunfight ensued. The two fellows made good their escape, but officers found their vehicle nearby and stained with blood. No one else was injured despite the fact that the store was pretty busy as you can see in this video. The cameraman was ducking and running, though, so it’s not as graphic as you might hope;<\/p>\n
