Our buddy, Dan Noyes busted phony<\/a>, Chuck Lyman last year for pretending to be a Navy SEAL and he updated his report<\/a> with the news that Lyman was in court to answer for the scam that he perpetrated on friends and family yesterday stealing thousands of dollars from them;<\/p>\n

The criminal complaint against the 54-year-old reflects what was reported last year. He convinced his own girlfriend and his neighbors at a Corte Madera apartment complex that he had an incredible military record. I-Team Reporter Dan Noyes interviewed several of Lyman’s victims.<\/p>\n

Alden Feldon: “He said he had worked in the service and that he was currently employed in the Coast Guard.”<\/p>\n

Darlene Stone: “When I first met him, he brought up Navy SEALs and special forces.”<\/p>\n

Susan Ferrell: “I thought it was the Army Corps of Engineers, and he was like an ex-Navy SEAL.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Lyman had six years in the National Guard in his FOIA. Now he has a court appearance next month and Dan assures us that he’ll be there.<\/p>\n
