By now you’ve heard that Marine Corps phony\/murderer Richard Matt who escaped along with his murdering buddy, David Sweat, was made DRT (dead right there) by a Border Patrol agent in Upstate New York last Friday. According to the Christian Science Monitor<\/a>, it was an interesting end to his career.<\/p>\n

For some reason, Matt shot at some campers (yeah, I’d go camping in the middle of a manhunt, too). The campers thought the shot was the sound of a flat tire, so they stopped and checked but found their tires intact and continued driving the eight miles to their campsite where they discovered bullet holes in their trailer. So they contacted authorities who went to the cabin where the shot had been heard.<\/p>\n

Matt hadn’t gone far and officers heard him cough. When they saw him, the officers told him to put his hands up, but he didn’t so they made him DRT. A 20-guage shotgun was found near his phonily tattooed body.<\/p>\n

I’m sure that Bernath will find a way to blame his death on us, but, the flowers smell a little sweeter, and the air is a bit fresher this morning without Matt on the planet.
