According to charging documents, Scaletta has past felony convictions for theft and obtaining money under false pretenses, as well as passing bad checks.<\/p>\n He is also reportedly under investigation for violating the Stolen Valor Act for allegedly claiming to have won military decorations.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n According to the article, his new trial in the new court will be within the next 40 days.
