Remember back in January 2014 when the POTUS said that ISIS was \u201cJV\u201d (short for \u201cjunior varsity\u201d)<\/i><\/a>? And those claims that the rise of ISIS \u201ccaught the intel community by surprise\u201d<\/em><\/a>?<\/p>\n

Well you probably know where this is going. Yeah, your leg\u2019s wet again. And you haven\u2019t been outside, so it\u2019s not rain.<\/p>\n

Those claims appear to be bull<\/i>. According to a news report yesterday<\/i><\/a>, apparently US military intelligence reports predicted the rise of an ISIS-like group in Iraq in August 2012 \u2013 or 17 months before the POTUS denigrated them as being \u201cJV\u201d. It also seems to me that predicting something 17 months in advance kinda negates the \u201ctaken by surprise\u201d claim, too.<\/p>\n

And it gets even better. Remember that little unpleasantness in a place called Benghazi \u2013 in September 2012? Want to guess when arms shipments from former Libyan military stocks to Syria, likely for radical Islamic rebel use, started?<\/p>\n

If you guessed \u201cabout a month later\u201d \u2013 give yourself a star.<\/p>\n

Oh, and the reports aren\u2019t just based on rumor and innuendo, or on “anonymous sources”. These reports appear to be backed by documents (in redacted form, of course). They were obtained by Judicial Watch via FOIA request.<\/p>\n

Yeah, it looks like the current\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 DC clown krewe<\/em><\/a><\/del>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Administration lied to us. Again. Twice.<\/p>\n

Surprised? Me neither.<\/p>\n
