Minneapolis’ KSTP TV5<\/a> talked to Richard Rahn<\/a>, the phony Ranger sergeant major who was busted by social media last year. He was returned to prison on weapons charges after his ridiculous picture was circulated in the media;<\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t know what happened, it started off all so innocent enough and it just got way out of hand,\u201d Richard Arthur Rahn said. \u201cFor that, I’m truly sorry. I didn’t mean for any of that to ever go on.”<\/p>\n

“I put it on, and walked outside and somebody said you should be in the parade today. I said, ‘I guess there wouldn’t be any harm,'” Rahn said.<\/p>\n

Rahn told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that he liked collecting military uniforms and had several in his possession that he was working on.<\/p>\n

“I meant no harm to nobody. I meant to insult nobody. I meant to offend nobody. I am one of the most patriotic Americans in this country,” Rahn said. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, well, I think that’s total BS. He found an opportunity to have the honorable military service that he had never earned. His intentions are irrelevant;<\/p>\n

“We accept his apology,\u201d Kim Schmit said. \u201cWe gave him a set of dog tags of our son’s. We hope he keeps them and looks at them and remembers what he did … and knows he hurt a Gold Star family.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rahn, Scaletta and Kolfhage are the poster children for how dangerous are these valor thieves beyond simply wearing uniforms and decorations they didn’t earn – Rahn and Scaletta were both arrested on weapons charges, and Korfhage on sexual assault charges.<\/p>\n
