He handed one of them his phone to call 911 while he went to the front of the car.<\/p>\n<p>They were both in shock, he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the front, the passenger was unconscious and the flames were picking up, but I couldn\u2019t get her and the driver out,\u201d Dowell said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just wanted to save these people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He flagged down two other vehicles from the road.
