I Knew You Could."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Continuing on the theme of \u201ctransparency\u201d, Lois Lerner &#8211; yes, the former IRS bigwig \u2013 is back in the news again.<\/p>\n<p>As I\u2019m sure you remember, some time back Ms. Lerner refused to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. The House then asked the Department of Justice to look into whether Lerner was guilty of criminal contempt.<\/p>\n<p>Well it seems as if the DoJ took a look at her refusal to testify before Congress about the IRS matter. In fact, the DoJ indeed did an \u201cinvestigation\u201d of Ms. Lerner &#8211; if you can call it that.  And they&#8217;re now done with that &#8220;investigation&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Wanna guess what they said? Aw, c\u2019mon \u2013 take a guess!<\/p>\n<p>Did you say, \u201cNo criminal case will be referred to a grand jury\u201d? No? Well, why not?<\/p>\n<p>Because <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2015\/04\/lois-lerner-no-contempt-charges-justice-department-116577.html\"><i>that\u2019s exactly what the DoJ said<\/i><\/a>. \u201cNothing to see here; move along.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, right. If you or I had pulled that stunt, we&#8217;d still be behind bars today.<\/p>\n<p>Sheesh. \u201cMost transparent Administration in history\u201d <b><i>my freakin\u2019 ass<\/i><\/b>.
