He pulled a gun and ordered the clerk to the back of the store, but the clerk pulled his own gun as well. <\/p>\n<p>According to police, when the attempted robber pointed his gun at the clerk, the clerk shot him in the chest.  <\/p>\n<p>Police say the attempted robber left the scene and went to Baptist Health Urgent Care on Taylorsville Road where police found him in the parking lot. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script type='text\/javascript' src='http:\/\/WDRB.images.worldnow.com\/interface\/js\/WNVideo.js?rnd=501502;hostDomain=www.wdrb.com;playerWidth=500;playerHeight=300;isShowIcon=true;clipId=11287565;flvUri=;partnerclipid=;adTag=News;advertisingZone=;enableAds=true;landingPage=;islandingPageoverride=false;playerType=STANDARD_EMBEDDEDscript;controlsType=overlay'><\/script><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wdrb.com\" title=\"WDRB 41 Louisville News\">WDRB 41 Louisville News<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then it&#8217;s on to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clickondetroit.com\/news\/intruder-shot-by-detroit-homeowner-after-breaking-into-house\/32084990\">Detroit<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Police say a 29-year-old woman was upstairs when someone broke into her house in the 5500 block of University Place. Her brother was downstairs on the couch, and she heard shots fired at around 3:40 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>She said she heard someone asked if there was anyone else in the house, so she armed herself and stood at the top of the stairs.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly afterwards, a man arrived at St. John Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. He is listed in critical condition.
