We’ve mentioned that Pennsylvania decided to stop their practice of “self-certifying” drivers’ veteran status on licenses. The Senate just passed a measure out of that legislative body last week unanimously to make it a $2500 fine and a year in jail for falsely claiming that you are a veteran on that government document, according to the Wayne Independent<\/a>. What is most disturbing are the numbers;<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of the program, more than 130,000 products were issued with the veteran designation.<\/p>\n

Baker said to date, 357 people were self-certified, but after an audit was completed, they were determined to not be qualified to get the veteran designation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Statistically, that’s probably insignificant, but if you look at our Stolen Valor page, there are probably 300 people listed there from across the country, just imagine that there are more than that just in the State of Pennsylvania who are willing to falsify government documents to claim that which they don’t deserve. It tells me that there is a larger cultural issue at work here. <\/p>\n

Basically, there is no shame. I got an email last night from a mother of one of our phonies who wants me take the post down about her son because he recently passed away – Nick Androsky’s body (MSG Soup Sandwich) wasn’t even at room temperature when his family was pleading with me to take the post down last year. They come to me when their lying-ass sons die, but they never thought to make their sons stop their own valor-stealing faggotry when they were alive.<\/p>\n

You’ve got New Jersey politician John Spodofora<\/a>, unashamedly admitting that he did nothing wrong because lying about his service wasn’t illegal. It is morally wrong, but it’s OK because it’s not illegal. Robin Mitchell<\/a> says that pretending to be a transgendered SEAL is his right to free speech. Perennial dumbass Dallas Wittgenfeld did a happy dance when the Supreme Court overturned the 2005 Stolen Valor Act because his own thievery was declared legal, despite the fact that it was morally wrong.<\/p>\n

The fact that there are 357 known liars willing to perpetrate a fraud on state government documents in Pennsylvania for a 10% discount at Lowe’s should cause alarm, but I’m sure that there are family members who will tell us “so what?” At this point, I’m willing to come out against these discounts just to end the faggotry.
