Investigators said Smith had not lived in Indiana very long and is originally from Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>Police said they were called been called to the woman&#8217;s unit at the Lexington Green Apartments in the 5800 block of West 25th Street in Speedway before for domestic issues between her and her ex-boyfriend. The 911 call she made this time, though, was different.<\/p>\n<p>She told dispatchers her ex-boyfriend, Smith, had kicked in her door. With her two young daughters &#8211; both under the age of 10 &#8211; asleep in the next room, she felt she had to shoot him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script type='text\/javascript' src='http:\/\/WTHR.images.worldnow.com\/interface\/js\/WNVideo.js?rnd=382940;hostDomain=www.wthr.com;playerWidth=500;playerHeight=300;isShowIcon=true;clipId=11200125;flvUri=;partnerclipid=;adTag=News;advertisingZone=;enableAds=true;landingPage=;islandingPageoverride=false;playerType=STANDARD_EMBEDDEDscript;controlsType=overlay;galleryType=wnstory;galleryId=28256987'><\/script><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wthr.com\" title=\"13 WTHR Indianapolis\">13 WTHR Indianapolis<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/theadvocate.com\/news\/neworleans\/neworleansnews\/11733798-123\/deputies-use-stun-gun-to\">Louisiana<\/a>, Vontrail Walker, wanted on a peeping Tom warrant, evades a homeowner he victimized, but not the cops;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A resident heard a noise in the hallway outside his bedroom, grabbed his gun and fired at Walker, who ran away, the report says.<\/p>\n<p>The victim identified Walker, who lives less than a quarter-mile away at his grandmother\u2019s house, deputies said. When investigators went to the house, Walker jumped from his bed and began attacking them, the report says.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies used a stun gun on Walker and then handcuffed him but he got away from them and ran into a wooded area behind the house, the report says.
