Well, it looks like a couple of \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 tools<\/span> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 cretins<\/span><\/del> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 jackasses<\/span> \u00a0\u00a0 everyone’s favorite individuals have been at it again.\u00a0 A little birdie tells me that I\u2019ve been identified!<\/p>\n

Yeah that little birdie tells me that SoMe GuY wHo WeArS pUrPlE-tIgEr-StRiPeD jUmPsUiTs and\/or another guy in the Pacific Northwest (or SW Florida, if his move is now official) have been using their “mad skillz” as \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 jerks<\/span> \u00a0 \u00a0 dipsticks<\/span> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 fools<\/span> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 “trail assassin” and\/or sleuth – as well as babbling semi-coherently – once again.\u00a0 And since the same photos appear to have shown up on both their websites, they also seem to be coordinating their efforts.<\/p>\n

According to an item that little birdie screen-captured and sent to me, apparently now I\u2019m a Captain in the Army \u2013 presumably serving on active duty.\u00a0 They also appear to be saying I’m teaching at Appalachian State University.\u00a0 But I guess they could mean I’m attending Appalachian State.\u00a0 That part’s not really completely clear.<\/p>\n

At least that’s what they’re saying today.\u00a0 Previously, I was Don Shipley.\u00a0 Before that, a retired GO; afterwards, a retired SF SGM.\u00a0 And maybe someone else sometime along the way, too.\u00a0 Who knows?\u00a0 Who can understand the workings of . . . “special” minds like theirs?<\/p>\n

Nonetheless:\u00a0 be still, my beating heart!\u00a0 Wow!\u00a0 I’m a freaking university professor –<\/em> or a university student. \u00a0 Imagine that!\u00a0 Now, I wonder . . . why I didn\u2019t know that?\u00a0 Did I miss the memo?\u00a0 Did I have a memory lapse?\u00a0 Am I suffering from selective amnesia?<\/p>\n

Oh, and if I’m an Army O-3 . . . that means I’ve managed to shed some years, too.\u00a0 Damn – why didn’t anyone tell me about being younger!\u00a0 I didn’t notice that!<\/p>\n

That also means the Army is supposed to be sending me an active-duty paycheck every month.\u00a0 Damn \u2013 I guess I need to go see the folks at Finance.\u00a0 I\u2019ve apparently got a sh!tload of back pay coming my way \u2013 not to mention back housing allowance, subsistence allowance, and maybe others!\u00a0 (I wonder if the assignment also qualifies for a civilian clothing allowance?\u00a0 I can always use some nice new business attire . . . . )<\/p>\n

And I am either teaching at or attending Appalachian State University<\/em>!\u00a0 As Max the VW might put it: \u201cThat\u2019s . . . . cool.\u201d<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

OK, time to be serious.\u00a0 I\u2019d guess I could say, \u201cYeah, right.\u201d\u00a0 But it\u2019s not<\/em> right.<\/p>\n

I know you’re reading this, dumbclucks.\u00a0 So listen up, you barely-literate, ignorant, addled-brained schmucks:\u00a0\u00a0 that\u2019s the wrong individual<\/span>.\u00a0 Again<\/em>.\u00a0 For at least the fourth or fifth freaking time<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let me put this in very simple terms.\u00a0 I\u2019m doing that so you can understand it, hopefully without having someone else explain it to you.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 I do not now teach – nor have I ever taught – ROTC or anything else at Appalachian State University.\u00a0 Hell, I had to do a Google search to find out where the place is located!<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 I am not currently attending Appalachian State University.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 I\u00a0have never been to Appalachian State University.\u00a0 In fact, best I can tell I have never even been within 30 miles<\/em> of Appalachian State University in my life.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 I most likely never will visit<\/span> Appalachian State University, much less teach or attend classes there.\u00a0 Trust me \u2013 if I ever end up teaching at or going back to college, Appalachian State is way down<\/span> the list of places I\u2019d want to attend or teach.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 And, finally, for completeness:\u00a0 you have identified the wrong person – yet again.\u00a0 I am not a Captain serving on active duty in the US Army at Appalachian State University.<\/p>\n

Is that clear enough – even for you<\/span>?<\/p>\n

Out of courtesy towards the individual our\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 resident clowns and self-demonstrated fools<\/del> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cgood friends\u201d here have misidentified as me, I won\u2019t list his name.\u00a0 He doesn\u2019t need the hassle.<\/p>\n

What I will do is say the following, clearly and for the record: \u00a0 the individual they claim to be me . . . is not<\/span>.\u00a0 Thunder Chickenchoker<\/span>\u00a0 and\/or the guy from the Pac NW (or maybe now SW Florida) are 100% wrong<\/strong><\/em> – yet again, as usual.<\/p>\n

However:\u00a0 I will offer you two “fine individuals” one bit of advice.\u00a0 Since false<\/span> written claims that tend to defame others are legally actionable as libel – if I were you two, I think I’d take that bit implying that a currently-serving Army Captain is engaging in “cyber stalking and harassment” down pronto.\u00a0 You know, before that individual gets royally p!ssed and maybe files a non-frivolous<\/span> lawsuit against one or both of you for defamation.<\/p>\n

But that’s your call.\u00a0 Suit yourselves.<\/p>\n

This whole business is getting fairly tiresome, though.\u00a0 I\u2019m considering telling one or more of these dipsticks where to go, and even giving them step-by-step directions on how to get there.<\/p>\n
