Rozgony asked Campbell for his name and phone number, which Campbell provided.<\/p>\n Rozgony called state police, who found Campbell on Walnut Hill Road. Campbell told a trooper he was in the Air Force, had completed boot camp and was awaiting assignment. He said he \u201cwanted to talk to kids about Veterans Day because it’s important.\u201d<\/p>\n When the trooper said he was going to verify his military status, Campbell changed his story to indicate he was waiting to be accepted into the Air Force. He then acknowledged he was not in the armed forces and had borrowed the uniform from a friend, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n According to the article, young Campbell had told school officials that he was in the Army, but he was wearing a scruffy-looking uniform with Air Force tapes on the breast. When questioned about the discrepancy, Campbell said that he was in both the Army and the Air Force, which makes complete sense – two pay checks.
