That&#8217;s when the homeowner fired three shots at the suspect, who then ran away. <\/p>\n<p>One neighbor, who lives next to the home that was broken into, spotted a white, older model Volkswagen with a broken window. That neighbor told police it was the first time he has seen that car in the neighborhood. <\/p>\n<p>Shortly after 7 a.m., police said they received another 911 call from the Bryant Square Apartments. This time, a woman told police that her boyfriend came back to their apartment covered in blood.   That apartment complex is located just south of where the home invasion took place. <\/p>\n<p>Just before 9 a.m., police confirmed with News 9 that the man covered in blood was indeed the suspect shot during the home invasion.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mr. Homeowner shot Mr. Criminal three times in the neck and face, but Mr. Criminal is expected to survive according to other reports. Mr. Homeowner needs to get another gun in a larger caliber.
